Morricone Youth played at Tonic last Sunday and are set to open for Wilco at a small show in New Jersey. Their musical concept is simple, they play film soundtrack-style music employing mostly a rock instruments and sometimes a big bass drum, beaten by the lead singer. The result is very heavy, especially for their opening number, Morricone's classic "Theme to 'The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly'".
